FORU's Goals:

#1. Restore, Enhance and Protect the Uncompahgre River and it's riparian corridor.

#2. Enhance wildlife habitat

#3. Promote multiple recreational use within the Uncompahgre River Corridor.

#4. Create a water quality improvement plan.

#5. Participate in the design and implementation of Montrose City and County Master Plans incorporating an Uncompahgre River Master Plan.

#6. Educate the community regarding the benefits of a healthy Uncompahgre River Corridor.
